Growing up in a family of eight, Brian and Kevin Flynn learned the virtues of hard work and attention to detail early on. Since starting VCP in 2001, their passion for industrial air quality has earned them the nickname, “The Dust Brothers”. As co-owners of the company, their livelihood depends on making sure every project is done right the first time; as brothers, they know how to work together with their customers to make that happen.
Brian is responsible for overall company management as well as sales in New Hampshire. He brings to VCP over twenty five years of experience in industrial sales and manufacturing, including invaluable continuity with Engineering Products, the predecessor company. There he was the lead sales engineer for eight years, establishing and maintaining the company’s northern New England sales territory. Brian has sold and managed the installation on some of the largest dust collection system projects in New England for the wood-processing and metalworking industries.
Prior to joining Engineering Products, Brian worked as an outside salesman for Hawkensen Enterprises, a large distributor of sawmill equipment in Plymouth, NH. He is a skilled machinist and has a B.S. degree in business administration from Plymouth State College.
Kevin is responsible for overall sales management at VCP, as well as sales in Maine and Eastern Massachusetts. He is a seasoned sales engineer with over twenty years in technical fields. Prior to forming VCP, Kevin was Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Engineered Systems, Inc. (now Basix Automation Inc.), a large HVAC controls and service company based in Hampton, NH. Kevin was instrumental in growing the company’s sales from less than $250,000 to over $4 million in ten years.
He has extensive experience in the application of microprocessor-based control systems for laboratory fume control, variable air volume systems, energy conservation and critical process control; as well as extensive training in energy engineering and HVAC. Kevin has a B.S. in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Connecticut.

VCP is a manufacturers’ representative organization that offers a full range of equipment designed for process ventilation and air pollution control in industrial and commercial applications. The company was formed in 2001 by owners Brian and Kevin Flynn to purchase the assets of Engineering Products Inc. of Burlington, CT, a respected manufacturers’ rep originally founded in 1931.
VCP specializes in serving industrial firms involved in manufacturing processes that generate dust, hazardous vapors, fumes, or mist. Since 2001, VCP has installed over $10 million worth of systems for some of the most demanding companies in New England and beyond.
Known for decades as the Dust Control Division of Engineering Products, Inc., the company’s trade name was formally changed to Ventilation Control Products earlier this year to reflect its increasingly broad range of products and services.
